Searching for the serial killer responsible for the death of six women, the young officer (Dylan O'Brien) realizes how it might be connected with his past during which the young woman has suddenly disappeared from his school. Trying to solve the mystery with his fellow co-worker Jim (Rami Malek) and the help of a deputy sheriff (Denzel), he slowly starts to lose himself in the events of the unknown, not knowing what's real or not.
